42 ml both, combined
Right in the normal adult range (~12–25 ml). Nothing to worry about.
How to measure and read it
Measure each testicle's length and its width (across) with a ruler or calipers, gently. Volume is estimated as 0.52 × length × width². Adult testicles average about 20 ml; normal runs roughly 12–25 ml. A size difference between the two is common. See a doctor for a new lump, pain, or both testicles clearly under 12 ml.
What is the average testicle size?
About 20 ml in volume per testicle for adults, roughly 4–5 cm long and 2.5–3.5 cm wide. Normal ranges from about 12 to 25 ml.
Is one testicle bigger than the other normal?
Yes — a mild size difference between the two testicles is completely normal. The left often hangs a little lower.
